Thanks for visiting Healthy New Day. This is my journey to better health through whole food nutrition. Like many of you, my goal is to attain optimal health and fitness through better nutrition choices and exercise. It’s not about being perfect but waking up and creating a Healthy New Day each and every day.

I will occasionally post stories, invites to health wellness presentations, and links to interesting articles that encourage, educate and promote a healthier lifestyle.

What you won’t find here is a lot of recommendations for products, vitamin supplements or fad diets. That is because I believe, and science supports, that we are able to stay healthy and prevent most disease through whole food nutrition. Which must consist of the consumption of an abundance of raw, organically grown, vine-ripened fruits and vegetables.

The only addition that I do recommend is Juice Plus+, (17 raw fruits, veggies, and grains in a capsule), because it is a whole food.

During my quest for optimal health I was introduced to Juice Plus+. After looking into the studies and science behind it I started taking it. I have taken Juice Plus+ for a number of years in addition to my daily consumption of fresh fruits and veggies. It is my assurance that I am consuming much more than I could ever chew daily and feeding my body the disease fighting nutrients it needs.
